This morning I was oh so rudely woken at about 4:30 AM. I don't know about anyone else, but if you're going to wake me up at 4:30 you had either better have a bottle of vodka in tow or an actual emergency that involves a ride to the hospital. Neither of these were the case when my sister loudly trounced in this morning. I can't fault her for coming home so early or late, depending on how you look at it, because there were nights in high school that I'd get home right before my parents would wake up, but I also never let them know I was out at all. I walk out into the kitchen to find her at the table, not injured in any way or with cops bringing her home, and all she says is, "My radio and iPod were stolen out of my car." That sucks, it does, but not locking your car doesn't exactly make it all that hard. Granted, they could have just broken a window or found another way in if they were locked, but at least they would've had to do more than just open the door. It is hard to feel bad after she pretty much shit on those trying to help her. We all deal with stress in different ways, but taking it out on the people that you happen to live with doesn't exactly inspire any sort of pity. I'm still half expecting it to end up being an April Fool's joke done by one of her friends.

Completely different topic, the weather is finally taking a nice turn and I was able to take a bike ride. It is wonderful just being able to go outside and enjoy the sunshine. I haven't ridden a bike in about 3 years either, so that was pretty interesting. The sign that I ran into thought so too. Well, the bike ran into the sign and I fall into the bush next to the sign, overconfidence at it's finest. I did the only thing I could do in such a situation -- I laughed. The man driving by with his mouth agape was amusing, but I suppose I'd do the same thing if I was driving by and saw a girl sprawled across a bush. The rest of the ride was great and even after 6 miles I found myself wanting to keep going, just to see what was farther down the trail but I had to turn back and go home. Maybe next time.

I don't have to close at all this weekend, so I am really looking forward to that. Instead of going out, I'm going to enjoy tonight at home surprisingly. Sometimes just sitting in front of the computer completely wasted on a Friday night with a group of friends on Skype/Ventrilo, killing people in a video game is the perfect way to spend a night. It's the simple things in life.
