The decades disappear like sinking ships but we perverse.

Oh, people. There are some I meet that I don't know if I want to punch them in the face or give them a hug because they're such a sad, miserable person that they have to take out their frustration out on everyone around them. Including sales people, you know, the worst people in the entire world.

Today at the end of my shift, I end up attempting to help this lady. Long story short, she was angry for some reason or another and wanted to talk to a manager. So, she did. I guess she was angry about out lab closing early and wanted to whine and complain, like the awesome person she must be. Only awesome people whine and complain. The manager went to see if the lab could possibly have it done. Not even 2 seconds later the lab tech stomps out of the lab, looks right at me, "Is that HER?" I almost felt bad saying yes.

The lab tech sits down in front of the lady and not so calmly explains why the lab is closing early. That she actually has a family to get home to, so no, she isn't going to stay an extra hour and a half just for her. The lady just sat there, kind of stunned someone would actually be so direct and almost mean to her.

Then she demanded the district manager's number to complain some more, and the lab tech gives her her name to give to them. I love her. I'm so sad today was her last day.
