Happy New Year!
My New Year festivities were slightly surprising. My sister had her friends over and I found myself spending much more time in their company -- drunkenly laughing at topics that wouldn't be the least bit funny sober. Well, save for one. My sister, in all her genius, decided she would drink herself into a stupor and fell asleep hours ago. The surprise she has waiting when she wakes up will be rather amusing. Let's just say she'll want to confiscate any and all markers that we have in the house.
This year snuck up on me. I knew the date, but I paid no mind. New years come and go for me, without much achknowlegdement of their passing. Time is something I would much rather ignore. This year is different. I desire change and what better time to begin again then at the beginning of a new year? There is a long list, but I'm already going to hate myself in the morning when I have to wake up much earlier than I would like, so perhaps tomorrow after work I can start writing it down.

Date: 2011-01-01 04:28 pm (UTC)From:New Years don't really matter too much to me either, but it is a good point to start off new in some way. Maybe just because you need some outside "reason" or presure to do some things. Anyway, good luck with whatever it is you want to do.
