Dear Saint,
I don't understand what it is about people -- those that seem to think every problem in their small worlds is the fault of the customer service person helping them. Or trying to, in your case.
See, the thing is we get a great deal of people in our store on any given day. We see upwards of 30 people an hour on busy day. We see people all day, everyday. But I realize this is no excuse to not be at your every beckon and call the moment you walk in the store, on your cell phone no less. All three of us should have been right here the moment you decided to grace us with your presence, and for that I do apologize. The other customers in our store at the time were completely insignificant when compared to you, and thusly should have been ignored despite having been there longer than you. That was a complete jackass move on the part of all of us, and please let the higher-ups know what failures we are.
It was completely MY fault for not knowing you needed help. It's not like there is a desk the center of the store or anything. You know, one of those you can stand at and wait like every other person in the world if you need help. We need to add one of those, I think. Being on your cellphone is also a very clear sign that you need help, and I do apologize for being too much of an incompetent person to know that and not blowing off the other two customers waiting for me to help you.
"I came in here for a reason!" Yeah, and it was obviously teach us lessons on how to serve people. We're lacking so much in that department. How we get ANY business whatsoever is a complete mystery, and I salute you for taking time out of your busy schedule to educate us on that. What a saint you are.
Or maybe it's you with the problem.
