Video game rambles, just a warning for those that don't play video games.

So here I thought I would get a ton of cleaning done today, while having a nerf-out day watching the E3 coverage on Spike. How wrong I was. As soon as they started the Skyrim footage I stopped dead, eyes widening, and have been transfixed to the TV ever since. Little disappointed by the lack of SW: ToR footage and lack of a release date, but the week is just starting.

I'm blown away by Skyrim and Mass Effect 3 though and seriously can't wait. I'm waiting for the Sony press conference for Uncharted news.

Though, truth be told I'm more excited about mass effect 3. Bioware has always done excellent RPGs, and the mass effect series is one of my favorites.

Except, I'm pretty bad at seducing aliens. Ah well. :D

LOL, no, I hadn't seen that yet.

Mass Effect is my favorite out of the Bioware games. As much as I wanted it to be out by Christmas, I'm glad they pushed the release date back. There is just too much going into it, and I'd much rather have it later than in a rushed state. Plus, I'm already going to be on game overload around November/December anyway.

Sims Facebook, huh?

I want to play Mass Effect at some point; David and I picked up ME2 for cheaps, but I'd like to start from the beginning! heard so many good things about it.

As much as I love the Sims, I had to laugh when they announced Sims Facebook.

It really is an amazing series. The first Mass Effect is one of the few games I can pick up and play over and over again, without being bored.

Rage does look impressive as well. I'm biased toward Skyrim though -- spent way too much time playing Oblivion and Morrowind. ;D

I've been following E3 on twitter mostly. So many good games are being announced. My only problem is with Nintendo. They announced a bunch of games I've been waiting for and then said they'll be on the 3DS. I want one. Sad face. I'm holding out as long as I can to buy one, though.

Nintendo was the only press conference that didn't hold my interest at all. The WiiU is a cool concept and something I can definitely see it bringing tons of new possibilities to games -- I just can't see myself buying one. Some of the new games for the 3DS do look pretty cool though.
