I'm right in the middle of six days in a row of work. Boohoo, wah wah. I'm just waiting for my days off next week. I'm making money, that's the important thing. I need it for my PSVita! Oh, and that thing called school.
My backyard is flooded currently, which just goes to show how little I currently have to talk about. From 90 degrees at 10pm to rain everyday, what a nice week. I prefer the rain. Unfortunately, my sister and I are much too big now to go paddling around in our plastic mini-pool like the last time it flooded. Yes, we really did that. We have a huge yard and the year we first moved here there was a great deal of flooding. This was years and years ago when we were young. We couldn't figure out why in the world our parents were being so mean and not letting us go out and swim in the lake that somehow now right in the middle of our backyard, so we improvised. We grabbed our plastic mini-pool, grabbed a few sticks, hopped in, and paddled around our backyard for a few hours. After all, my parents never said we couldn't float out on that lake. We were far enough out by the time my parents saw us that it didn't matter. They were more amused at that point than anything.
I've been playing through games that have been sitting on my shelf for a few months now finally. Well, a few of them probably at least a year. I do that with games and books -- buy them and don't touch them for months. I eventually do, but it can take a while. I just finished Heavy Rain a few days ago, and actually don't have much to say about it. It was different and one I'm glad to have played, but I view it more of as an interactive movie than as a game. Batman Arkham Asylum is what I'm playing now and why I didn't start playing it sooner, I'll never know. I look totally awesome, laying in my bed with my paper Batman 3D glasses on. No, really. Where are you SW: ToR? I need you.
I've also been messing around on both Twitter and Tumblr lately. Blackberry has an awesome app for Twitter, so I mess around on that when I'm bored at work or just when I'm supposed to be doing something I don't want to do.
