So here I was, all ready for my first actual Sunday off (Easter doesn't count!) in over a year -- a day full of doing nothing but sitting in front of my computer and/or laying in my bed playing video games. I turn my PS3 on, munching on my grapes, and feeling pretty good because I had just given my dad the best Father's day card ever. I stare at the screen realizing I don't want play it. So, I move to the computer and start Steam up to play some Fallout, same thing. I did this little cock my head to the side thing as it registered, "No....video games?"
I didn't want to play any video games.
This is a big deal! A day where I could lounge around all day and pretend the craziness that can be the world doesn't exist outside my window and I don't even do that! So, I did what any normal person does when they don't know what to do -- I went to Wal-Mart. Then I did some other stuff. As soon as I get to work tomorrow all I'm going to want to do is go home and play video games. I love the way that works.
I have this feeling tomorrow is going to be one of those days at work. I don't know what it is, but I'm actually dreading it. I never actually want to go to work, but I can't say that I dread it either.

Amanojaku is some weirdo demon in the Japanese folk-lore who "is thought to be able to provoke a person's darkest desires and thus instigate him into perpetrating wicked deeds", but in everyday language it just means a contrarian or someone who always wants the opposite of what is available. XD Even my boyfriend calls himself amanojaku often, haha.
