Student Loans are not the first things I like to have to deal with when I wake up in the morning. You would think I would learn to not be a procrastinator when it comes to important things, but GUESS NOT. I've done the parts that I can for now.
Hello, new friends! I gained quite a few more than expected, so hello to all of you! If you feel so inclined to stalk me around the internet, I also have a twitter and Tumblr!
I haven't decided what I want to do today. I don't have to work (WHAT?!), but I don't know what to do. I used to be able to fill up monumental amounts of free time. Now I get a few days, and I sit here, wondering what in the world I used to do. Maybe I'll go to the zoo.
Wait, I know! I'm going to get a new computer chair later. Mine is about 9 million years old. Really, 9 million years. Minus the million. Computer chair shopping is fun. At least if you bring a lot of people, so you can attempt to play musical chairs right in the middle of the store.
I may or may not have done that before.
The last time I looked around for a new computer chair my sister and her boyfriend were with me. We ended up sitting there, discussing the complexities of the universe.
Actually, we each sat in every single chair there was in the store and waved at random people that walked by, giving us weird looks. We were very bored that day and I left without a new chair. I'm surprised mine is even still standing.

Date: 2011-08-15 08:04 pm (UTC)From:Comfy computer chairs are awesome! I got mine at IKEA a few years and it awesome to be sitting and not feeling like in a bus station. I'm completely terrified that the chairs at my new school are going to un-confortable (of all the things to be worried about lol)
Good luck with the shopping! But shopping at IKEA for chairs is fun..because you get to sit and try all the chairs. I love doing that even now when i don't need a chair but maybe I'm a little bit weird in my own way!

At my old college, the new chairs were awful. They were these rollers chairs, so you'd think they'd be awesome, but no. You try to go one way and you go the complete other way and ram right into whoever is sitting next to you.
That wasn't so bad if it was a cute guy, but it normally wasn't.
Better to be weird than just like everyone else. ;D

It was a yoga chair (I know there's a proper name, but I don't know what that is.) and it looked so comfortable, especially because I normally sit cross-legged on my on chair.

Date: 2011-08-15 08:38 pm (UTC)From:A good computer chair is a must, I know most of our generation spend literally hours on end at their pc/laptop/mac and just from an ergonomic point of view you just need something stable to sit on whilst doing your thing.
That said, I sit on the floor. I have a perfectly good chair that I COULD sit on, but I choose to sit hunched over on the floor as I have aspirations for my torso to be at right angles to my legs when I hit 30.
Decided what you are going to do today then? I'm still on my summer hols, I DO have a bunch of reading to do by the beginning of term, but I'll get round to that tomorrow. Its almost quarter to ten in the eve here, so its far too late to begin!

Date: 2011-08-15 09:08 pm (UTC)From:Yeah, that's why I plan on getting a really nice new one. I spend way too much time sitting in my chair, haha. Between gaming on my PC, gaming on my PS3, doing homework, randomly browsing the internet, I spent at least a few hours a day sitting here.
I wish I could sit on the floor. I do sometimes when I play my PS3 or watch TV, but my computer is on a high desk so I wouldn't be able to reach it.
Not yet! And the day is almost over. I played some video games, that's about it. Just waiting for my dad to get here to go computer chair shopping with me or my sister to come home with my new parakeet cage she got from work, whoever gets here first.

It's like Do i really need that to recline that far back or.... should i have it to where it doesn't because my crazy ass would lean too far and actually fall. Should it be more padded than this one?
You're right btw, more people to come, the better because musical chairs in a department store without real music is always a win. That's where you change the rule to where you hear a phrase, you get up and change seats...
