Man, that no alcohol thing for school lasted all of 4 days. In my defense, I don't have class tomorrow and I don't work until 4, so I can drink and not feel guilty. Plus, my stash is almost completely gone now and I'll not buy anything new for a while.

And by my stash almost being gone, I mean I still have enough vodka left to get drunk on some random day if I want, so it's there but enough to get me completely wasted.

So first week of school, yeeeah. You know, I somehow expected so much more. Part of that is me being completely unreasonable and believing that a new university was the secret answer to all my problems. It isn't, for the record, but it has resolved some. Of course, there is also a whole new set of problems. I like it though, for the most part.

There is a nice atmosphere when I get there at 7:30 AM. It isn't completely deserted, surprisingly. People are sitting all over as the sun is just barely rising. It's rather pretty. Maybe I'll remember to take a picture. It'll be depressing when winter comes and it is still dark at that time, but what can you do. Parking is awful, but it seems every campus is that way. You have to take the good with the bad.

Wow, 11:30 and I can't keep my eyes open. Only a few days ago I couldn't go to sleep before 3AM.

It really is. We have this nice small quad with tons of trees, a fountain, and benches. I love walking through it.

I am enjoying the Botany class I'm taking already. The people that sit around me are pretty awesome, and we don't have to sit there in the classroom for hours on end. We're going to a prairie restoration on Monday and I'm so excited, haha.

I hate that, wanting so much to go home or go out and have a glass of something but you can't because of work. Though, at my old job people would come in completely wasted on random days. I could never do it, lol. A morning meeting, maybe, but not actually work.

Yeah, we start pretty early. The last week of school is the first week of December, followed by finals week, so at least there'll be more time off for Christmas than I'm used it.

I'd love to sit around a few more weeks. ;D School always seem to start too soon.
