There is something I just have to mention that happened today. We have a great deal of weird people that come in with the most outrageous and crazy demands, like how DARE bug spray ruin their glasses. EVERYONE uses it!

Yes, that did happen. But not today. Today, I'm standing up at the desk glad to finally be able to breathe now that the district manager was gone. This couple walks up to me. The husband needs his lens put back in and the wife, well, she pretty much throws the glasses at me. "I could get better glasses at the thrift store!"

I didn't know thrift stores sell glasses.

She then goes on to tell me she has worn the glasses all of once and had to tear them off because of the smell. I also didn't know glasses smell. But I guess she could smell the nose pads when she was wearing the glasses. I've heard a lot of weird complaints about glasses, but I think that one takes the cake.

I didn't even know what to do, so I told her I'd change them. I bring them back to her after doing that and the first thing she does is put they right up to her nose. And then she demands her husband to the same, and so he does. I don't think I've ever had a harder time trying not to laugh. Not out of malice or to make fun of them, but it was just so absurd I didn't know what else to do.

Dead Island time!

Thrift stores might have old pairs of reading glasses lying around (the ones you can buy in pharmacies/pharmacy sections), but all-the-time glasses? I wish. Lol @ OH NOEZ FUNKY NOSEPADS.

Seeing how awful some people's old glasses are I would be afraid of seeing even cheaters at a thrift store, lol. We call it "face cheese" when we get nosepads out and it is just this gooey, nasty mixup of a lot of stuff. Not the green, since that's from the metal, but it's yellow and just eww.

The funny part was she even said she didn't have that great of a sense of smell, so part of me thinks she just wanted new nosepads and didn't think we'd give her new ones. I just gave her the exact same type as before and they were satisfactory, so I guess we'll see if she comes back. ;D

Ive been saying i was excited for Dead Island and after the weekend I had I COMPLETELY FORGOT ABOUT IT AND I JUST SPASMED SO HARD AND NOW WANT TO GO TO WALMART TO BUY IT... er sorry. LOL omg. but seriously. I FORGOT.

... I dont think i could of kept a serious attitude. I would of given a "Seriously" response :X or at least the face of it....

Hahaha, it is pretty fun so far. There were problems with it on Steam so I held off for a few days. It is SO pretty. Well, aside from the blood everywhere. Driving is awful though, but that's every game I've played that has you drive something lol.

LOL, I wouldn't doubt it. I try not to get close enough to any patients to find out. I've had some that just smell awful and want to stand right there, almost on top of me.

They don't really have one. The cleaning solution has almost no smell, at least the type we have. We do have Goo-Be-Gone to get sticker residue off, but that wasn't on her glasses. The nosepads don't really have a smell either, maybe a slight plasticly smell but it is hardly there.

I wonder if she's the type of person who uses those air fresheners that change their scent every twenty minutes or something because OMG THE HOUSE MUST NOT SMELL LIVED IN.

Haha, that drives me insane. One of my coworkers carries spray with her wherever she goes because of that. Some places I can understand, but she would even spray it at work where it doesn't smell.

I do understand that some places smell (But we can't use anything like that because it sets off my dad's asthma so I just don't use them - plus, i've had really bad experiences with neat freak housemates at uni, so I loathe anything like that anyway) but it does nark me.
People spray body spray on themselves without thinking at work sometimes, and I catch the aerosol drift and it kills me. I usually go, "Jesus christ, you don't smell that bad!" :p

What really drives me insane is when you can smell someone from feet away. I always wonder what smell they're trying to hide by bathing in perfume/cologne, haha.

In many cases the smell is about as bad as any epic sweat/poop/urine scents they could possibly have!
