I don't understand the parking at my university.

At my community college, there was always parking no matter what time of the day you decided to roll out of bed and go to class. Yeah, if you went when everyone else was there you would have to park way in the back and walk but you had a spot.

It isn't that way at my university. This morning I roll into my normal parking lot, which is the last one people want to park in, jamming out to some song and inhaling my coffee only to find out that ALL of the spots are full. ALL of them. In every parking lot. I don't mind having to walk super far to get to class, that doesn't bother me. I like walking, especially on really sunny days like today. But if I pay for a parking permit, you would think I would at least get A parking spot. I don't even care how far it is, I just don't want to have to park on the street in front some person's house and have them get all angry at me. They might egg my car or something.

And I started reading the Hunger Games. It was like Jurassic Park in that I read the first page and didn't put it down until it was over. I have no idea why I took so long to pick it up. I'm in the process of reading the second one once all these stupid tests stop taking all my free time away.

I think it is part of the whole college should be a huge fucking ordeal theory. They always pick the worst peice of real estate imagineable. I always end up parked in the weirdest places. My undergrad had bumper stickers at the bookstore that said " if you see my professor tell them I am still looking for a parking spot"

Lol, they seriously do. Ours in RIGHT in the middle of an insection of busy streets, so the campus itself is a bunch of disconnected buildings. That's awesome in the spring/summer, but walking in the cold in the winter sucks.

LOL, I need one of those bumper stickers. It is so completely true.

My community college is like your university. When all the spots are full, some people park on the incline in front of the pond. Muddy incline + water + cars = no thx

The Hunger Games seem so amazing. It is on my to-read list. :D

Ouch, that would suck. They yelled at us if we parked on the grass, but thankfully there was never a time anyone needed to.

It totally is! I didn't think it would be, but I was hooked almost immediately.

Uggh my college was ALWAYS this way, too. And the one morning I said fuck it and parked half on a "space" and half on the grass, I got a big fat $50 ticket. Wonderful.

Ugh, I would be so mad. It's like, make another parking lot if people are having to park like that. They pay it go there, at least give them parking.

It's great! :D I really can't wait to see the movie now.

Hahaha, I'm scared of buses. I have no idea why, but even in high school I refused to ride the bus even though I was lucky and the bus came for me really late, meaning I could sleep in longer than any of the other kids.

I know! So far, the trailer makes it look amazing. I like the cast so far, but it is hard to say how good they'll be without seeing the movie. Soon! :D

I read The Hunger Games in one day last week (I was at work too!). I can't say it's the best book I've ever read, but it was really addictive. I can't wait to start the next one.

Yeah, I was surprised by how much I ended up liking it. Definitely not the BEST BOOK EVER, but definitely going to be one I'll read every so often. Don't think parts of it will ever leave me.
